Vendor Documentation:

As part of Gourmet Foods International’s Supplier Approval Program, we are required to maintain in our records, documentation from our suppliers, to ensure the safe production and distribution of foods. The following documentation (in English), are required to complete GFI’S preliminary vendor approval process. Please make sure to secure the documents before attempting to complete the new vendor application. 

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

  • Certificate of Insurance (COI): The certificate MUST list “Russell McCall’s and its affiliates, subsidiaries and related entities” as the insured and carry a minimum of $2 million in liability coverage. If you have more than one GFI division set up to sell direct, please note that only one COI is required to cover all divisions.
  • Certificate of Guarantee
  • Federal Tax ID (W9)

DOCUMENTS IF AVAILABLE

  • Full Third Party Audit & Certificate with Corrective Actions (if available)
  • HACCP Plan-Process and Flow Chart/Diagram (if available) 
  • Microbial testing and/or Sampling Information (if applicable)
  • Recall Plan

New Item Documentation:

The following documentation (in English), are required to complete GFI’S preliminary new item approval process:

  • Product Specification Sheet(s)
  • Nutritional Information
  • Allergens Kosher and/Organic Certificates (if applicable)
  • Product UPC (if applicable)
  • Case UPC (if applicable)
