Moses Reaper is an October festive version of our classic Moses Sleeper cheese. It's a bloomy soft-ripened brie-like cheese with natural annatto coloring added to the milk and the outside of the cheese is rubbed with vegetable ash, which gives a layer of black ash under the bloomy rind.

Moses Reaper is a beautiful October festive version of our classic Moses Sleeper cheese. It's a bloomy soft-ripened brie-like cheese with natural annatto coloring added to the milk, making the paste a beautiful auburn/orange color. The outside of each wheel is also rubbed with vegetable ash, which gives a layer of black ash under the bloomy rind. This cheese 'scares' perfectly with hot honey or classic candy corn and existential dread.
